Well, my little home studio must be a success, since I’ve been forgetting to blog about all the things that have gone on there! First thing to come to light in my review is some handmade chain. After working on a couple of pretty big chain projects for my day job I decided to experiment with a few other types. Here are the results!
These are both fine silver. It’s sailor’s knot chain on the right and a flattened (squashed? I don’t know how it should be described) loop-in-loop chain on the left. I’ve been wearing them most of the past year, combined with pieces from other artists who are favorites of mine. I’m happy to say they’ve held up very well, even though I had never really worked with fine silver before and was still getting to know my little torch!
